The internet is full of profile sites including friend networks, dating sites, school reunion sites and all that. Each time you have to give them the same old boring profile, well at Just a Face? you let other people create your profile.

You give us your picture and our visitors answer questions on you; building up a complete profile on exactly who people think you are. Do you look smart, attractive and born to be a paleontologist, let's find out...

Yep, all sorts, we launched on Saturday 18th November 2006 and have 1,497 members with a total of 2,469 photos in rotation, that's a massive 19,904 questions available to be answered.

Of the members 391 are male and 636 are female. Breaking the photos down we have 187 photos of members under fifteen, 2,010 of ones between fifteen and twenty five, 211 between twenty six and thirty five, 97 between thirty six and forty five, 29 between forty six and sixty and 9 over sixty.

As far as visitors go we have had 436,423 votes for our member's photos and received 634 comments on them.

Just a Face? is run by Ant and James from Solent IT, IT specialists in Christchurch, Dorset (UK). The site was created and designed in-house by Solent Web, the web design section of Solent IT. For information on web design, web hosting or other IT related matters please contact Solent IT.

Anyone can join the site, some of our questions may seem a little inappropriate for the young ones but that's ok because if you are under 16 the system wont allow people to rate you on those, so you can still have fun without endangering your innocence to any serious degree.

Joining is easy, click the Join button on the menu, or here, and it will take you to the registration pages, we will need a little info about you and your picture of course. On the second page all we require you to do is let us know how you would like to be rated and give us some basic details for comparisons.

The information you supply to us will only be used on this site. Your contact details will never be revealed to any third party.

To check your score and update any details all you need to do is visit the login page here. Once logged in you can view your profile to find out exactly what the world think of you.

To delete your image simply visit the login page here. Once logged in, although you cannot delete your images yourself, if you edit the picture's preferences and un-tick all the options it will remove it from the picture rotation and the gallery. The ability to remove the picture completely, and even your account, will be added in the next few weeks.
